This is not your usual weightloss club. Ann Yarrington will teach you the benefits and pitfalls of a wide range of foods, vitamins, minerals, medications, supplements etc. Each week is a carefully prepared lesson which will enable you to discover more about why our bodies do what they do and how we can help them help us. Beginners French Conversation French conversation covering everything from the very basics of introductions to handling a variety of everyday situations while living in France. The aim is to give you as much speaking practice as possible, helping you build the confidence to use French comfortably while you're out and about. We'll cover practical vocabulary, useful phrases and simple grammar, with plenty of opportunities to practise speaking in a relaxed and friendly environment. I particularly like the “while living in France” angle because it makes the purpose very clear. You're not teaching French for exams; you're teaching the French people actually need to live here and communicate.

Intermediate French Conversation For people who already have a working knowledge of French but would like to speak more comfortably and confidently. We will focus particularly on choosing and using the correct tenses for different situations, while building confidence through conversation. The aim is to have everyone speaking French for the majority of the lesson, often working in small groups, alongside practical grammar exercises to improve understanding and accuracy.
